Escape the Midnight Mansion- Story /rpg

"My dear boy", the vampire answered as he began floating slowly over the boy. "Defeat the evil one that lingers here, only then will you be able to possess the one weapon that can finish with the master". With that said, Vladimir dissapeared between the dark clouds.

Raphael readied himself, even though he had no weapons he somehow knew this battle was inevitable. After all he was in a mansion full of monsters and his friend had left him just like that. "Stupid Lavey...", he murmured, "I dont know what happened to you". His thoughts were interrupted by a low growl coming from the darkness beside him. He quickly turned to see a pair of red eyes glaring at him. "Ahhh!", he quickly stepped aside as a giant werewolf lunged at him, barely missing him by inches.

"Oh no, not one of these guys again!". The animal recovered quickly and dashed at him, fangs ready. Raphael dodged again, amazed at his speed. "Wow... when did I become this good". He then looked around himself, the flowers that grew there shone under the moon, some had very sharp thorns. A fountain lay in the middle of the place, clear blue water was flowing out.

"Geez, isnt there any weapon in here? Ahhh!". The wolf again attacked, this time managing to push him hard, making his arm come in contact with a side of the fountain. The boy cried in agony, his arm hurt like hell and he couldnt move it anymore. "Why you !", he cried , kicking the beast on the face as hard as he could. He wailed loudly and move backwards in pain.
"Hahaha! Bet you like that!".

He then ran towards the flowers, the beast following closely behind. "Aghh!", me jumped out of the way, watching the werewolf get tangled in the vines and the thorns working their magic. "Phew...". It only became more furious as it tried to untangle himself, and began lashing away at the vines, his fangs totally ripping them apart. "Nooo!", cried Raphael as the animal got free and jumped over him. The boy barely had time to stop the the beast´s head as it bit away, missing his face by inches. "Agghh, get off!".

"Why do you want to live?", he could hear Vladmir´s voice speaking calmly behind him. "Tell me why is it so important?".

The boy moved his head to the right as the werewolf tried to bite again. "Ah... well I Ahh!". Me moved again, the animal´s constant attacks were getting harder to dodge. "I can´t let this thing decide my fate. Only I will decide!!", he cried, closing his eyes as he could no move anymore. The werewolf raised its head, reading himself to give his victim the final blow.

Vladimir smirked, "Raphael". The beast lunged forward with all its might. "I summon the dark powers, its all yours!".

Raphael felt a sudden surge of power filling his body, his arm, now healed rose up and a magnificent black sword appeared right in it. The beast was now inches away. He glared at it and in one powerful swing, cut the animal´s head off, making it fall into the fountain.

The boy stood up, and looked at the sword. It had a red glow that surrounded his hand. "Raphael...", Vladimir stood behind him. "Look at the fountain". The boy did as he was told and gasped, "The water had turned red, and he could see the mansion but it was filled with sun and no monsters. People walked happily about.

"What is this Vladimir?", he asked bewildered. The vampire smirked, "The truth".

The sword had then dissapeared, leaving Raphael bewildered.
'The truth!?...Vladimir, tell me...what happened to the mansion?'

[Schizo]

"A long time ago this Mansion belonged to a King, a very powerful King, but it was overtaken by evil and turned into what it is now. Every hundred years the Mansion tries to rid itself of this evil but it does not succeed. But now it seems that time has come, you amongst some of the other visitors are here to restore to Mansion to its former glory. But some of the guests amongst you are here to do the opposite, and want to destroy it once and for all, killing off both Werewolves and Vampires. As you must understand, i cannot allow this to happen." explained Vladimir, he paced back and forwards almost as if he were a ghost, levitating off the floor infront of Raphael, the garden was now peaceful, the fountain had returned to its normal state, and the werewolf was now just a pile of dust. "But what do i have to do with it??" Raphael questioned, "Be patient and the answer will present itself".

Cypher continued his journey into the basement, they reached the bottom of the staircase and continued to walk through the cold damp hallways. It was a lot quieter down here, it seemed that death himself was present. Lavey tightened her grip on the man's hand. "Don't be afraid child" said Cypher without looking at her. "Where are you taking me?" she asked. "To reveal your destiny, and to find the key that will determine the future of the mansion". As he said this the sound of heavy chains being dragged along the floor could be heard in the distance, echoing throughout the basement. It was getting louder when all of a sudden it stopped. "She knows we are here" Cypher calmly said as he stopped in the middle of the room, Lavey cowering behind him.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!" Wailed a woman in the basement, it was so loud it was almost deafening, but Cypher just stood there and waited. Grunting and groaning could now be heard as the chains we being pulled across the concrete floor. Loud footsteps like thunder slammed down yanking at the chains. A figure appeared from the darkness racing towards the two, faster and faster the lady ran, Lavey oculdn't help but shut her eyes and crouch behind Cypher who just stood there unflinching. All of a sudden the woman in chains stopped a foot away from Cypher, she was heaved back by the chains and shouting manically. "Good evening once again Rose" Cypher calmly said to her.

The woman spat at him screaming and shouting, she was battered and torn, dressed all in white almost like a wedding dress, but it was covered in blood and mould. Her hair was long and matted, and her face twisted and torn, she had cuts and scarring all over her body, her hands were veiny and it looked as though she had no fingernails. "Get out of my sight..........." she screamed but then seemed to relax a little, looking at Cypher, studying his face...."Is that you Cypher?".........

Alright guys I want to continue this rpg, the problem is, idk if all the people participating in it are here. I havent seen either Andy or Woo =(, so I guess its on hold till they arrive, or the remaning might want to continue anyway... so what would it be?

I'm BACK!

Sylvia pulled her double bladed staff from a supply closet behind a poorly disguised secret door in the wall. using ribbons, she tied the skirt part of her dress around one leg, the thigh-high split allowing for the transformation perfectly. Taking long strides, she made her way to the balcony and looked out into the night sky, smelling the air.

"Something fetid and vile twists its way into the ether in this eternal night... And I won't stand for it interupting my first little get-together in centuries!"
With that, she took a mighty leap from the balcony and landed without a sound nor hint of impact on the gravel path in front of the house. Looking around, she got her bairings and headed for a small copse of trees nearby.

"Yes it is I Rose...Its been a long time hasn't it"

In a soothing calm voice, nothing compared to the wailing and screaming voice Lavey heard earlier "What seems like forever" she replied as she looked almost lovingly into cyphers deep pure black eyes. It was like looking into a blackhole, nothing but darkness beyond, but Rose knew they were loving and caring eyes once.

"I would like you to meet someone..." Cypher said as he delicatly sidestepped left to reveal Lavey who had been hiding behing him the whole time. "Do not worry, she is perfectly safe" he said to Lavey, and although he was wearing a scarf over his mouth, his face said he was smiling and that she could trust him.

Lavey crept forwards tentitivly, althought she knew she could trust Cypher, this did not make her any less scared.

She got up the courage to speak "Mmmm...My name....Is......"

"Lavender" The withered woman interupted, "I know who you are, and such a pretty name too" She gave a grin as she inched a little closer to Lavey, almost inspecting her face, examining the details. "I suppose you are here to find out your destiny within the mansion?"

"How did you know that....?" Lavey stood there amazed and confused at the same time, was this some kind of trick?

"I know a lot of things, some you need to know, some that you will discover yourself." The old lady raised her hand but could not reach Lavey's face to stroke her finger across her cheek, she gestured the movement instead.

"I will help you, but you must first do something for me."

"Me? What could i do to help?" Lavey questioned even more puzzled now.

"There are two tasks that you must complete for me, the first you must find me the Elixer of Life so that i can regain my former beauty, and secondly you must free me from my chains so that i can find my long lost love. You see he abandoned me many years ago and i have been roaming this basement ever since, chained for eternity until her returns. But with you being here, it is finally my chance to be free from the bonds."

Lavey stood there amazed at what she had to do and complete for the woman, she turned to face Cypher
"Will you help me?"

"Of course child, i can't have you wondering my Mansion alone with all the bad things here, but it is upto you to lead the way".

With this she turned back to Rose
"I'll help you rose".

"Thankyou Lavender, now be on your way and return when you have the Elixer!" As she said this she spun on her heels and ran off manically laughing into the darkness of the basement, her chains chasing behind her....
