I havent been here in a long time neither. Like you said; life got in the way, big time. Fatsack
Just renewed my membersip to the forum. It's like 5-6 years since i was here last.
But this place is seriously dead! I remember back when i was a regular there used to be activity here all the time.
We should try to get some more people in here.
Btw. check out my new topic in Wordsmithery: Ghost stories

Hey guys, welcome back! Yeah it's dead in here because of the closed registration (and let's not even mention the 2 year gap between Brackenwood releases) Tongue
Since the late 90s, whichever forum I've ever been a part of, if there's one thing that stays the same, it's that people move on with their lives and the community thins out a lot as members grow up, get jobs, get involved in new communities or just lose interest.

Considering the last Brackenwood movie was LotD at the end of 2009, it's no real surprise that activity here has slowed way down. The next Brackenwood project is Dashkin, the game which I'm confident will be done this year. Even then, with the rise of Facebook I'm not sure there'll be a big spike in forum traffic, but I'll probably have a link to the forum in the game.

You should seriously consider reopening the registry.
A lot of people come in here just to look and i think this place would come alive again if people have a chance of becoming members.
Adam told me that there was a lot of problems with spammers, and that sucks, but it can't be that much of a problem if members help out to report the spammers and get them kicked out.
Like we both said, life got in the way, but after a while, when things settle down you remember this place and want to come back.
It was like that with me anyway, and I can't be the only one.

I do miss this place sometimes. Learn't a lot about programming since uni and came here to see if there was anything I could help out with in the coding board only to find that the last post was my own from a few years ago. If membership was re-opened then we probably would get new members with the new games release.

It's funny that I'd randomly decide to come back here when this thread was posted.

I've been getting into a lot of new music lately and came across Ween and finally gave them a serious listen.

Transdermal Celebration came up and the memories hit me like a sack of goddamn bricks.

How are you guys doing?  It's been a loooooooong time.  I was dentaltaco on the old forums.  That must have been at least ~5-7 years ago.  Wow.

Yes growing up is a bitch. I can believe I started here at age 15, and now I'm 22. 7 years ago Shocked And now starting my schooling to go into nursing. Life has changed a lot. That and part of my absence here was being connected to most of you guys via Facebook.  Tongue

Yeah TheEye still keeps a watchful eye on the old place. I'm like the old crotchety hermit that lives out back. Just dont tell Adam, or he will start charging me rent.  Bingbong

Glad I'm not the only one wandering through and feeling sentimental. Man, it's been a while.

So is there a plan or something to liven the place up? Because every time I drop back in, the most recent threads are usually about how dead this place is. Bingbong

I, for one, was unaware that registration was blocked for newcomers.
