the blessings of birth, yet to become a curse for life
the solitary star on a moonless sky
standing beneath the shadow of the world

A misfortuned starlight dimly shines
carving the path of a misguided man
burdened with a shimmering apathy
entangled to the failure of his ways

A lone figure drifting a sea of emptiness
searching for nothing, waiting for anything
one sign in the skies, the dim light of his life
the only promise for a new day
the only hope for a crowded laugh
and a joyful death
