I say Sammich at times. I say "lol" only sarcastically. When someone has made a really rubbish joke, I'll say "lololol", though only with close friends who know I'm joking and don't mean to offend. I hate when people say "BRB" in real life. I'll only slightly accept CBA, partly because I find it amusingly apt and also partly because it's more polite than saying arse in public. Though I prefer to use a more decorative vocabulary when in company I feel may appreciate such things.
But, as is human nature, we all subconsciously alter our speech and vocabulary slightly depending on who we're talking to and how we relate to that person.

What if an individual's personality is dependent upon their use of chat speak phonetically? Do we still frown?
Having such a personality is just fine, as long as anyone who exhibits such behaviors stays far away from me. And Woo, like I said just now, ignorance is bliss. People can say all the silly things they want when I'm not within earshot.

In that case, I could walk around blurting lol-speak and you shall never know. :3 Though I doubt I could ever bring myself to do that.

For all you know every single person you know is doing that while you're not around. Think about that.

That would be horrible, a Halowood capable of asexual reproduction. I can only imagine the terror.

OH DEAR LORD. I'm pretty sure most of my friends talk in lolspeak while I'm not around. My friends all nerds. And I'm cool with that.

It seems like everyone prefers foreign food. I guess that's just the whole "grass is always greener" concept.
