Venus-The City of Beauty

       This rp is set in the fictional city of Venus, and split across two threads to avoid confusion. The city is tucked snugly into the mountains. It is, as the name implies, a beautiful city, so much so that few ever move away, and those who come to visit find themselves moving in. However, the city has another side to it. Existing in a parallel dimension, is the city of Nox, only accessible by a few people, who visit it in their dreams. Nox is a strange, empty cityscape that is constantly shifting and changing.                 
             Dreamwalkers, they call themselves, have enhanced abilities within Nox, some grow wings, some find themselves with magical ability, still others turn into another creature completely. Up until the present day, Nox has been a playground and a haven for the Dreamwalkers, who use it for various purposes, some help eachother prepare for an upcoming test, others use it to sex it up without risk of making children, the possibilities of how one would use 8 extra hours seemed endless!
     But then, Nox was mysteriously infested with monsters, which the Dreamwalkers call "Nightmares". They payed them little heed until a strange illness set in over Venus, as a powerful Nightmare appeared in Nox. Thinking there some correlation between the two they defeated the Nightmare and the illness vanished. Some of the Dreamwalkers decided to protect Venus, some of the Dreamwalkers decided they could care less, and still others sided with the Nightmares. All of them were brash and reckless until they found out that if one dies at the hands of a Nightmare they die in the waking world... one can choose upon falling asleep whether or not to enter Nox. Most Dreamwalkers now avoid Nox unless they must go in to put an end to a Nightmare that is having an effect on Venus.

Minibio: Sam is the original Dreamwalker, and practically lives for the experiences in Nox. People think him lazy because he sleeps alot, but that is simply because he is almost always Dreamwalking. He is, in effect, addicted to Nox.

Alterations to Appearance: In Nox he wears a chainmail hauberk over leather armor and does battle with a longsword.
