15 - Our little friend Germanicus fights Arminius in the Teutoburg Forest. And it ends in a draw. Awwww. Sad

Arminius, by the way, was the guy that united the Germanic tribes and ended up being assassinated by his own people. Awwww. Sad

16- A Roman army of 50,000 men commanded by Germanicus gains a great victory at Idistaviso, defeating the German war chief Arminius and capturing his wife Thusnelda, and recovering the lost eagles of Varus' legions.

17 - As a reward for his successes against Arminius and the Germanic tribes, the Roman emperor Tiberius tells Germanicus to march right back out and invade Parthia (modern day Iran).

And, to take away from Rome for a moment, the city of Sardis is destroyed by and earthquake.
