Yes...I'm binging sexy Umbra back.


Story: a city shrouded in eternal night by magic. Umbra is a large city, yet it somehow stays hidden from view. it is unknown what country Umbra is located in, and it somehow is slightly more advanced than most places.it's home to many creatures that were believed to never have existed, creatures such as Vampires, Were-Wolves,golblins, and some other "mythical" sentient creatures. excluding mermaids (who were hunted to extinction by coast-dwelling gnomes), and demons (who were banned from umbra after numerous murders). A forest surrounds Umbra, inhabited by the banned demons, to combat this is a wall surrounding Umbra.

Umbra has many buildings. mostly shops, bars, and apartments. The only building that doesn't hold any business is Blackwing manor. and even it was once an old hotel.

the forest around Umbra is large, covering 150 acres of the land around Umbra. It is filled with demons and animals.

Biography: He was once one of Umbra's most famous residents, now almost no one knows him. he lives in a room in Blackwing Manor, since it's abandoned. he lives with his brother, Orinth.
Appearance: looks like he's in his late teens to early twenties, gray hair, red eyes, and has large black bat wings sprouting from his back. he usually dresses in a black long coat, a pair of jeans, and black shirt.

Runose walks out from his room in the Blackwing Manor, having just woken up. He showered, got dressed, and made an egg sandwich. he opened his window and stuck his head out to see if it was windy. he then jumped out, extended his wings, and flew to the nearest library.

 E'claire turned a corner and walked out onto a busy plaza, she had a strange feeling something wasnt right. No matter what she did, she couldnt shake it. She gently pushed her way through the crowed until she reached the far side of it and ducked back into a dark alley, trying to avoid to much attention. As she continued walking she started thinking about how uneventful the last two weeks had been, atleast every few days she would find a demon slinking its way around the city.. but nothing these last two weeks. she turned another corner and came out onto another open plaza, with the citys main library.
she often came here when she had no where else to go, as she slowly walked up to the doors and pushed them open she thought about how it was the one place she could call a sanctuary for herself..

Runose flipped through the book he had picked up off the shelf, it was titled "Demons of dreams: from the Aabtar to the YuYu". he closed the book, put it under his arm, and picked up the book "Demons of the 7 deadly sins".

She continues walking but stops in the middle of the library and just stands there for a second, before grabbing her head and falling back against a book shelf trying not to cry out in pain "no.. not here, not now!"

Runose walks out of the aisle, making sure his wings didn't hit anything, and carrying several books to be checked out, when he spotted a girl, she looked as if she was struggling to hold in something. he stared for a minute, then went off to go checkout the books.

E'claire helds her breath for a few seconds before letting it out in slow, labored breaths... Something was here that didnt belong, and now she had to find it before she lost control over herself. As she slowly stood up she looked at her wrist, a faint glow of a blood red symbol showed and she shivered. "not good..not good.." She looked up to see a boy with several books in his arms. going to check out most likely...but the only thing that made her notice him was the black bat wings that sprouted from his back. she chuckled before whispering to herself "there you are..." she reached under her jacket pulling forth two Desert Eagles. she wasnt to skilled with guns, but it'd have to do. she finally understood why she had felt so wrong, as she slowly advanced towards the librarians desk..

Runose checked out the books he had gotten. "Can I havee a bag, please?" he asks, he is given a bag and puts the books in. he then senses something, he reached for his shifting-dagger, he chose for it to turn to a thin, beautifully polished, gleaming silver sword.

E'claire stops a few feet away from him knowing he wasnt stupid enough to not notice her. she studied him before turning to the sideways and looking at him "what business do u have here demon? to take the lives of more innocent?" She glared at him before continuing "after all, thats all ur kin ever does..is it not"

"Demon? You've got me wrong...I'm a half breed. you've never heard of the Darkwing brothers" Runose says, ready to command his blade to turn to a scythe, spear, or chain-blade.

"not a word, why do you ask" E'claire answered him keeping a close eye on him and his weapon "half breed or not.. that doesnt change what you really are" E'claire sighs before whispering "just like it doesnt change what i am..."

"Heh, let me tell you about us, the Darkwing brothers. we are the last of a great family, but the pure-blood bloodline died when our mother gave birth to us. she had been possessed by a demon, which affected me and my brother. All of our family members died when the demons started murdering, they were banned and driven out before they got to murder us. you're lucky you aren't like us. having to hide away in that cursed hotel." Runose tells to the woman, whom he kept his eye on.
