There’s a good reason I haven’t updated in 2 months. Dashkin has now got a sponsor and I’ve been holding off on making the announcement until contracts are finalised. However, as these things go, we’ve been held up and I won’t be making the official announcement just yet. So rather than stay quiet until I can say stuff, I’ll tell you what I’ve been up to in the meantime.
Cilla Jane is an independent singer/songwriter based in Melbourne. She recently contacted me saying that she liked my “littleFoot” movie and asked whether or not I’d be available to do a music video for one of her songs. I listened to the song, liked it and said yep. The album has now been released and I’m due to finish the video at the end of May, so you’ll get to see it soon. I’m using ToonBoom Animate Pro 2 for the entire project.
The game has made a huge amount of progress and we’re ready to release a playable beta to a lucky few of our loyal subscribers. All that remains is for some technical wrinkles to be ironed out and a bit of pre-beta polish. If you’re a cynic, the announcement will come sooner than you think.
The Brackenwood Store is no more! It lasted about 4 years and the costs of running it have always been on the high side. But yesterday I’d had enough and made the cancellation phonecall. Don’t worry, this isn’t the end of Brackenwood merchandise and I’m already working on new ideas. More info in a future update.
